A multi-faceted project, the publication, website, and app inspire young readers to follow their dreams by learning from strong women who have changed history.
This publication is a redesign of the 2002 publication: The Scholastic Encyclopedia of Women. All words written by Sheila Keenan.
At the end of this publication, readers are encouraged go to the website to take what they've learned and dig deeper into a specific field that inspires them. At the site, users take a quiz to determine their interests and based on their answers, they are given bios of inspiring women in that field.
Already bound and determined you're going to become the first woman president? Skip the quiz and go straight to the mind map.
The mobile app allows users to get a more up-and-close look at these inspirational women. Users can watch interviews, listen to speeches, read newspaper articles, and browse photos.
